"My little boy has been going to Michelle for 19 months now. He started there aged 15 months, after a very unsettled start at a local nursery. We immediately felt at ease with Michelle, and decided that she would be the best person to look after our little boy. Taking him out of the nursery and entrusting him with Michelle was the best decision we could have made!
Michelle and her family live in a clean and tidy house, with a dedicated playroom, downstairs toilet facilities and a huge garden equipped with slide, climbing frame, playhouse, a rabbit and chickens! Michelle and the children rarely have a day when they don't leave the house...she takes them to various toddler groups, the library, to the shops, to cafes and to hundreds of different playgrounds and country parks.
Michelle prepares freshly made meals which I am told my little boy loves (he often has at least two helpings!)
We have noticed such a difference in our little boy since he has been with Michelle...it has been lovely to see him develop into a confident, chatty and independent little man. Michelle is also always looking for ways to continually improve her practice by attending evening and weekend courses related to child development.
If anyone is looking for a childminder I would not hesitate to recommend Michelle. I am happy to provide a reference, or speak personally to anyone who may be considering Michelle as a childminder...you won't be disappointed!"

Everything you could want in a childminder

I was really pleased when Michelle looked after my daughter.  I wanted somebody that I felt she was safe with, had the same approach to looking after my child as I did , somewhere that my daughter would be played with and taken out doing different activities and given healthy food.  I found all this at Michelle's.  The house is a clean/safe environment for the kids and you can tell by Michelle's own children how polite and well behaved they are and how happy.  That environment is what your own child will be around therefore felt at ease leaving my child with Michelle. I also found Michelle to be very thorough and professional taking pride in her job and making sure all her standards are to the highest so what more could you want for your child :).

Michelle looked after my son for over a year and a half until he went to nursery. Finding a childminder I was happy with took time, Michelle was the 7th person I'd seen, something just felt right. She has a lovely family and will welcome your child into it easily. She was always out and about doing fun things with the children, thinking up new craft / baking ideas. Shift work meant we needed flexibility which was not a problem. Michelle cooks really good healthy meals too that my son would enjoy eating with the other children and rest of the family, I was always jealous! I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Corby Childminder

Irchester Country Park Summer Fun Day

Northamptonshire Childminding Association organise several summer fun days each year.  This year they've been at East Carlton Park and today, at Irchester Country Park.  The next event will be NCA's 20th Birthday party at Abington Park, Northampton.  The activities are open to everyone, not just childminders.
